Reviewer identities are never collected
Every visitor review on Naver Place carries the reviewer's nickname, a stable account identifier, and a link to their complete public review history. This actor never returns any of them.
Reviews are delivered as text, star rating, visit date, photos and a receipt-verified flag — and nothing that identifies who wrote them. There is no setting that turns this on, and an automated test fails the build if a reviewer identifier appears anywhere in a delivered row, at any depth.
Reviews from the same author are never linked across businesses, and author data is never enriched from other sources.
What the actor collects
- Business name, category, phone number, addresses and coordinates
- Opening status and hours, facilities and amenities
- Reputation aggregates that Naver itself publishes: average rating, star distribution, review counts and theme analysis
- Review text, star rating and visit date — without reviewer identity
- Menu items with prices, and business photos
What it never does
- It never signs in. No account, no session cookies, no credentials.
- It never solves or circumvents a CAPTCHA, and never spoofs a device fingerprint.
- It only reads pages Naver serves publicly to any visitor without a session.
- It does not republish the directory, and every run is capped.
Removal requests
If you are a business owner or an individual and want data relating to you removed from this actor's cache and archive, email privacy@actorstack.dev. Include the Naver Place URL or the business name. Requests are actioned within 30 days, and in practice much sooner.
Data is cached for at most 7 days and archived for at most 90, after which it is deleted automatically. Every row the actor returns declares its own age, so a cached result is never presented as fresh.
